Scab

Scab mainly caused by Elsinoe and S-phaceloma in fungi. Xanthomonas in bacteria and Streptomyces in actinomycetes can also cause scabs.

Symptoms:

It mainly damages tender leaves, twigs and young fruits. The affected leaves began to show oil soaked spots, then turned waxy yellow, and the disease spots expanded and rose to one side to form a conical nodule. If the disease spots gather, the leaves will become twisted and deformed, and the fruits will also become deformed, and the fallen leaves and fruits will fall seriously.


Occurrence regularity:

It is easy to occur at the temperature of 16~24 ℃ due to wind, rain and insects, and the prone period is from March to May.
